Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. (1 Tim. 6:17-18)

Do you keep a Daily Journal?

Did you know that most of the greatest minds in history kept a journal? People like Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Edison, and Sir Isaac Newton all used a journal of some fashion on a regular basis in order to capture their thoughts, ideas, and creative imagination. There is some correlation between journaling and creativity.
Over the last several years, I have kept a journal that has focused on historical days (such as 9/11 and President Obama's inauguration) and random thoughts and musings for my wife and children to read when I've left this earth. But recently, I've turned to my journal as a vehicle to focus on Big Ideas, mindmaps, and goals that will take the gifts God has given me to a greater level.

All you need to do is purchase a notebook and block out time in your busy schedule to focus on Big Ideas, your gifts and abilities, and what God's purpose is for your life. Over the weeks and years of journaling, review your ideas often, and take action on ideas that can benefit the Kingdom, you, your family, and as many people as possible. This will make you an even Richer Christian.
